I’ve always loved to shop – it just used to be A LOT HARDER. Everything was harder, my feet were a 4EE width and I was a size 24/22. So I did a lot of window shopping and shopping for others (My mom & kids). I’m approaching my 45-50lb weight loss milestone and almost as many inches lost – needless to say shopping is now pretty easy!
At #FitBlogNYC I got my first pair of “normal” running shoes from Reebok that actually fit and I think that was my ah-ha moment that things were changing and I was slowly returning to “normal” sizes.
I had a spare hour tonight and I intended on going to Wal-Mart to check out some more of their fitness clothing and then got sidetracked by the “CLEARANCE” posters in the windows at Sears. I was happily surprised at the few goodies I found!
I had found the next dress and searched all the racks for a different size, but all they had was a 10. By some weird twist of fate it fits – it’s a little lumpy – but again – spanx will fix that
I love the next option but it was just too short. It even had pockets!
I took my 2 winners and headed home. I was taking the kids out to bike night at my dad’s store tonight so needed to pick them up and find something to wear. This is what I came up with…

Made my “too big” jeans work. Luckily they fit in the legs because of the stretch in them. The waist was way to big and kept falling down.
Now shopping gives me a sense of self-confidence – either that or my iphone just takes amazing photos
– and it used to get me down and I avoided with all I could! I’m loving the change – my bank account might not be but I am!

you are so cute, you are looking amazing too!
U are gorgeous!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the red dress!
