Just Add Spinach

In an effort to up my veg intake and boost my morning smoothie, I added a heaping handful of spinach to my smoothie today. On an even braver note, I added a new protein power! I found one called North Coast Naturals Organic Hemp Protein. I’m normally not the biggest fan of protein powder as I find it ruins the texture and taste of my smoothie which I cherish every morning. I was pleasantly surprised when this blended nicely into my smoothie with no added bulk or odd taste – WIN! So now my smoothie includes a handful of spinach and some of this great protein!


Ingredient List:

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
